Project Overview
This mature birch tree had several long and overextended limbs growing across the backyard toward the shed, lawn and surrounding gardens. Selective limb trimming was completed to improve clearance, reduce excess weight and create a cleaner, more balanced canopy.
The tree was assessed from multiple angles to identify the branches causing the most interference and visual imbalance. Selected limbs were carefully removed in controlled sections to protect the shed, lawn, garden beds and nearby shrubs.
Rather than heavily reducing the entire canopy, the work focused specifically on the branches requiring attention. This helped preserve the tree’s natural mature shape while opening the surrounding space and improving the overall appearance of the backyard.
All cut limbs and debris were collected and removed from the property, leaving the lawn and surrounding gardens clean upon completion.

Challenges
